Abstract

B a c k g r o u n d . The relevance of this study concerns the necessity to find alternative sources of financing for localized businesses in Ukraine. Crowdfunding can help not only to attract additional financial support but also to form effective networking between potential stakeholders. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the potential of crowdfunding as a modern tool for financing localized businesses in Ukraine. The object of the study is the relocated business in Ukraine and the challenges that accompany its activities after relocation. The subject of the study: crowdfunding as a modern mechanism for financing relocated businesses, including financial and managerial aspects of its application.

M e t h o d s . To achieve this goal, general scientific and specialized methods were used, including the analysis of modern literature, statistics, cases of successful crowdfunding campaigns, and a survey of representatives of relocated businesses. The method of analysis and synthesis was used to summarize the data obtained on crowdfunding.

R e s u l t s . The study showed the need for significant changes in production activities, fundraising and marketing activities after business relocation. The key problems of displaced businesses that cause difficulties in attracting funding from traditional sources have been identified. The digitalization of all areas of business activity creates prerequisites for organizing campaigns on crowdfunding platforms. The analysis of the crowdfunding market, the specifics of crowdfunding platforms and successful crowdfunding cases allowed us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of crowdfunding, threats and opportunities.

C o n c l u s i o n s . The use of crowdfunding can significantly increase the adaptability of displaced businesses to new business conditions. Therefore, it is important to maintain the awareness of domestic businesses about the benefits and opportunities of crowdfunding at the state level.
