B a c k g r o u n d . Modern challenges, in particular economic instability, pandemics, military conflicts, force enterprises to adapt their strategies and business processes. One of the important factors affecting the successful adaptation of enterprises to crisis conditions is information technology, which not only facilitates the processing and transmission of information, but also provides tools for deeper data analysis, forecasting market trends, increasing the efficiency of processes and making decisions based on real data.
M e t h o d s . A comprehensive approach to research is used, which includes such basic methods as: analysis and synthesis when studying the literature, processing statistical data and practical cases to assess the role of information technologies in ensuring the stability of enterprises in crisis conditions, the method of systematization and modeling with the help of which the integration of IT in key business processes such as resource management, finance, logistics, marketing and cyber security, graphical analysis to visualize results studies demonstrating the role of information technologies in minimizing risks and ensuring the stability of enterprises in crisis conditions.
R e s u l t s . The key aspects of the implementation of IT tools that contribute to flexibility, optimization of resources and support of business competitiveness are considered. On the basis of empirical data, models of the influence of technologies on the adaptation of enterprises to changes in the external environment, in particular, in conditions of socio-economic instability, were built. It has been determined that digital technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics and ERP systems enable enterprises to effectively adapt to changing conditions and reduce risks. Examples of successful use of IT in crisis conditions, in particular, during the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, are given. An enterprise strategy has been developed for attracting and actively using IT tools to maintain sustainability and development in conditions of socioeconomic instability.
C o n c l u s i o n s . Information technology is a key factor in business sustainability, but there are barriers to its implementation, including high costs and a shortage of qualified personnel. It is proposed to expand research on the integration of IT into the strategies of enterprises for their longterm sustainability.
